About our CEO

Darolyn Gray is a results-driven executive with strong management, strategic planning, marketing, public relations and business development experience in both corporate and non-profit arenas; a demonstrated track record for leading marketing and funding initiatives, implementing highly effective brand enhancement programs and media campaigns, and driving profitability; and a skillful and persuasive tactical leader respected for building professional relationships and fostering collaboration.

A former Vice President of Marketing for E. F. Hutton Insurance Group and former National VP of Sales Development for Merrill Lynch Insurance Group, Darolyn has for over a decade turned her business acumen and passion to assisting small businesses and nonprofits with business and resource development. In the nonprofit arena she has served in capacities of consulting Executive Director, consulting Director of Development, consulting Event Director, Executive Director, Board President, Board VP. Board Secretary, Board Member at Large, and Co-Chair.

As a volunteer, she was previous Co-Chair of the Deaf Community Health Workers Advisory in Minneapolis, for many years was on the Board of the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir, was on the Development Committee for One Voice Mixed Chorus and chaired their annual Cabaret Fundraiser from 2011-2014. Darolyn is also an accomplished songwriter and has produced two CD samplers for nonprofits. She has served as a grant panelist for the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council and as a diversity consultant for Ameriprise. As of February 2012 Darolyn also became the full time Development Officer for Wingspan Life Resources, a Twin Cities nonprofit that has served the needs of adults with developmental disabilities for over 40 years.
